Municipality of Nestos

Lioncode is a company headquartered in Chrysoupoli in the Municipality of Nestos. This means that the Municipality of Nestos could not but collaborate with our company since in 2017 it made the right decision to evolve, modernize, and embrace the new technological realities.

Our goal was for the Municipality of Nestos to provide electronic services and proper information through technology, thus making citizens’ lives easier. This initially happened with the creation of a new website aimed at providing all the necessary information to citizens quickly and securely.

However, Lioncode did not stop there and developed the e-Nestos application for faster user access to services without needing to connect through a web browser. It is a mobile application available for both Android and iOS software, free for everyone via Google Play Store (for Android devices) or App Store (for iOS devices). Our goal was a simple and user-friendly app that all citizens of the Municipality, regardless of age or technical knowledge, can use.

Thus, in December 2018, our efforts were rewarded when the Municipality of Nestos received the Silver Medal at the national Best City Awards in the category “Daily Citizen Service.”
